During a 2-days event in September, Genes had the pleasure to participate in a special public event in Kreuzberg, Berlin. High Wire artists were crossing the Spree canal, about 6 meters above the water, while we improvising music to support and accompany their walk.

This is the second time we got the chance to collaborate with high wire artists. We learned how intense, gentle and beautiful such a collaboration can be. During the few minutes it takes the high wire walker to cross to the other side, the act of careful of balancing, influenced among others by her or his experience, focus and personal style, creates an intense momentary bonding between the artist and the musicians, and bring about a focused and unique visual auditory experience.
